William Bradford' Bio
William Bradford, PhD, is a national expert on minority-owned businesses, as well as entrepreneurial and small business finance, venture capital, and corporate finance. Previously, he was Dean of the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington. He has authored or co-authored three books and more than 70 articles on finance during his career. Upon his retirement in 2020, the Foster Business School established the William Bradford Professorship, to be awarded to a faculty member concerned with diversity. In addition to his academic pursuits, he has consulted numerous firms and international lectureships in corporate finance and entrepreneurship in the UK, Indonesia, Egypt, the Ivory Coast, South Korea, Canada, China, and South Africa. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Howard University, MBA in Finance, and PhD in Finance and Economics from Ohio State University.
